Sabrina Hoehne graduated from the University of Zurich, Switzerland. She spent a year at Cornell University to obtain her Dr. med. vet. degree followed by a small animal rotating internship at Oregon State University. Sabrina completed her small animal Emergency and Critical Care internship, residency training, and a post-doctoral research fellowship in pulmonary medicine at the University of California, Davis. She is board certified by the American and European Colleges of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care. In 2018, Sabrina returned to her home country Switzerland where she held a clinical faculty position in Small Animal Emergency and Critical Care before joining the team at Washington State University in 2021. Her professional interests include cardiopulmonary resuscitation, simulation based learning, electrolyte and acid base abnormalities, and fluid therapy.
