Dr. deLaforcade is a 1997 graduate of Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine. Following a rotating internship at the Animal Medical Center in NYC and a residency in Emergency & Critical Care at Tufts, she joined the ECC faculty at Tufts University in 2001. Dr. deLaforcade serves as Associate Medical Director and section Chief of the ER, and is also the Exective Secretary fo the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care. Her research interests include hemostatic changes in response to illness and fluid therapy.
