Kelly Foltz LVT, VTS (ECC)

Kelly is a 1999 graduate of Mercer University and a 2006 graduate of Athens Technical College, where she received her AAT in Veterinary Technology. She maintains active credentials as a CVT, LVT, and RVT in Florida, Alabama, and Georgia and became a member of AVECCTN in 2012. In addition to her work in the ICU, Kelly is a lecturer and author. She is a member of the AVMA Committee on Veterinary Technician Education and Activities and served on the AVMA Task Force on Veterinary Technician Utilization in 2019 and on the Working Group for Veterinary Technician Utilization in 2020. Her professional interests include feline medicine and nursing, pediatric and neonatal care, technician education, and wound care. In her free time she enjoys renovating her 100 year old farm house in rural east Alabama, reading, spending time with her quarter horse gelding Billy, and taking naps with her five pit bull terriers.
