Dr Buckley graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2005, followed by an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the Royal Veterinary College,. UK . After this he moved across the pond to Tufts, MA where he completed an internship followed by residency in Emergency & Critical Care. He became ACVECC board certified in 2010 and joined the faculty at University of Florida the same year. He was also board certified by ECVECC in 2016. He is currently Chief Medical Officer of the Small Animal Hospital at University of Florida. He has clinical and research interests in respiratory disease, CPR, patient safety and provision of clinical services.
